The busiest days of my past week have ended - and Its a Sunday and towards the latter part of my 2 day offs from work as I shift my gear in facing another days to come next week. Aside from completing my weekly chores which I and my wife agreed – it would still be 90% at a time though mostly on my upside (really lucky huh.. ) well Thank you God for blessing me a beautiful, caring and loving partner.
Now, it was more than a week since our newly crowned Boxing Champ, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire won his WBO and WBC belts from the Mexican Legend Fernando Montiel- giving us another reason to celebrate. Yet his impressive performance can still be seen in hot boxing sites and is being discussed in almost all major Boxing forums in the planet as of today. Rare you can see a little brown brother who we usually perceive in a disadvantage situation serving his masters in a foreign land making a living to make lives easier of our equals from the other parts of the world, beating and battering what a normal third world country citizen see as superior beings(thanks for the hype). It seems these little midgets from the Far East are getting relevant nowadays at least inside the square circle. Wow!
But in the end. It is still be vicious no matter how we see it. Purist and laymen alike can still see it as unChristian so to speak. But I cant control it, we cant control it. If these are what we are witnessing and giving our proud nationalists a breathing gadget of Hope. Then we just savor the moment because this events comes once every hundred or maybe millenium years we all know tides will turn and let’s hope its not going to turn soon.
